Jonathan La

Jonathan La is a Partner at Machete Group, where he oversees capital structuring, project financing, and stakeholder engagement to deliver complex, large-scale developments. He works across the full project lifecycle — from early-stage planning and financing to design, leasing, and operations — while also guiding feasibility studies, market analyses, and execution. Jonathan serves as a trusted advisor to sprots franchises, developers, and municipalities.

He began his career at EY in San Francisco before joining the Golden State Warriors, where he played a pivotal role in the $1.4 billion Chase Center and Thrive City district, while also supporting strategic financial initiatives that drove growth for the franchise. Upon joining Machete Group, Jonathan played a key role in bringing FC Cincinnati’s $340 million TQL Stadium to life, helping transform the city’s West End into a new center of activity.

Jonathan studied Business Economics and Accounting at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is a licensed CPA in California.
